Sister She Thought Dead Found in New York Hospital
Mrs. Catherine HUNTER, of 808 L street northwest, from descriptions published in papers, reached the conclusion that the body of the young woman found murdered in the pond at Harrison, N. J., Thursday of last week, was her sister, Mrs. Jospehine [sp.] BECK. She appealed to the local police to aid her in determining the question, but since has received information from her sister, who has been located in New York city.
Mrs. BECK has been confined in a hospital in New York. She was a Miss CONNELLY, of this city, and is said to have disappeared from Philadelphia two years ago, since which time nothing has been heard of her up to three weeks ago, when Mrs. HUNTER received a letter saying that she was despondent.
Mrs. BECK will come to Washington as soon as she is strong enough to travel.
