DR. STAFFORD BETTER; PASSES RESTFUL NIGHT
Dr. D. J. STAFFORD is much improved today, and is making as rapid progress as could be expected under the circumstances. He had a very restful night Wednesday. His condition today is extremely satisfactory to the attending physicians and hospital authorities.
The high regard is which Dr. STAFFORD is held was never more manifest than since last Sunday, when the announcement was made in church that an operation would be performed the following Tuesday. Since that time the attendants at St. Patrick’s rectory have answered hundreds of telephone and personal calls, all anxious to get news of Dr. STAFFORD. This, according to the assistant priests at the rectory, has done more than anything else to keep up Dr. STAFFORD’s spirits.
Much satisfaction is felt in Dr. STAFFORD’s quick rally from the effects of the operation and continued improvement since.
