CONDUCTING PROBE INTO LYNCHING

Mobile, July 7 – Twenty-eight resident men of Baldwin county, all of them well known, were today brought to Bay Minette under guard for the special session of the Baldwin county grand jury which met at one o’clock today to conduct a probe into the lynching of Frank Foukal, who was shot to death in his cell on the morning of June 22 by members of a masked mob.
