A jury was summoned yesterday by the Coroner, Justice Wilson, to hear testimony relative to the cause of the death of Antonio Gonzales which occurred near the car repair shed on Saturday, by reason of cars colliding with timbers where Gonzales and others were working.
After hearing the testimony the jury rendered a verdict exonerating the railroad company from all blame in the premises; that the men employed with Gonzales were negligent in not taking proper precaution in placing a signal, as is the custom, and said neglect mad it possible for said accident, leading to the death of said Gonzales.
