Description: Death of Ramona Flores
Date: December 13 1901
Newspaper published in: Tucson
In the Barrio Libre, a Mexican woman named Ramona Flores was found dead in bed yesterday morning. It appears that she retired in good health the previous night, but about 3 o’clock in the morning her son, a boy of about 15 years of age, was awakened by a noise in the room, and on going to the bedside of his mother found her dead. Judge Wilson impaneled a jury, who, after viewing the remains and hearing the testimony returned a verdict of “death from natural causes.”
