Mrs. Edith MERRILL died at her home in Monticello at 1 o'clock this morning. She dreaded the thought of dying of consumption as her mother had, and on last Sunday she took a dose of poison, London purple, which ended her life this morning in spite of all the doctors could do for her. She was aged 33 years, and leaves a husband.
