Description: It Was An Elopement. The Mysterious Disappearance of Pretty Edna BEATTY Explained.

Date: November 4 1888

Newspaper published in: St. Louis, Mo.

Little Rock, November 3.

Information was received this evening that Miss Edna BEATTY, whose mysterious disappearance was announced in the Post-Dispatch of Thursday last, had been found. The lady had eloped with R. H. WILSON, a lawyer of Panola County, Miss., who followed her to this State and induced her to return with him. The twain were married in Memphis. The father of the girl was opposed to the marriage and removed to Arkansas in order to get rid of WILSON, who twice before attempted to run away with the girl.
