Bloomington, Ill., January 19.
At Stockton, Cal., last night, occurred the death of Mrs. E. H. JACK, formerly of Peoria, wife of one of the wealthiest ex-residents of the latter city. Her death resulted from apoplexy. Mrs. JACK was the daughter of Capt. MOSS, who years ago was a very prominent steamboat man and railroad builder of Illinois. He was the first steamboat captain on the Illinois River.
