Benjamin HANDY, the student at the University of Missouri, who was shot dead a few days ago by a fellow student, was from Harrodsburg, Ky. W. W. THORNSON, who shot him, was from Shelbyville, Ill. HANDY first attacked THORNTON, the day on which he was killed, but previous to that THORNTON had thrashed the deceased. The affray had its origin in a game of whist.
