Cyrus M. McCluskey, a well known citizen of Flatwoods township, died at his home last Friday and the funeral was held last Sunday. He had returned but the week before from a trip to New Mexico, at Deming, where he had been for his health, he having been a sufferer from tuberculosis for some time, though pneumonia was the immediate cause of his death. His age was 48 years and he leaves a family of several children, his wife having died some four or five years ago. There are eight children surviving, the oldest being Willis, who is teaching the Flatwoods school, and he has been appointed administrator of the estate and will keep the family together and care for them as there is considerable property belonging to the estate and he is competent and able to handle it, though a young man just past his majority. The deceased was a progressive farmer and a good citizen.
