CYRUS W. FIELD gave a breakfast at Delmonico’s, New York, on the 27th to Count da Lesseps and his daughter and a number of members of the French delegation.
THEODORE BRONSON, well known in society circles in New York, and about twenty-five years of age, committed suicide on the 27th at the family country seat near Fairfield, Conn., by shooting himself through the head with a rifle.
REV. JOHN ADAMS, of New York, died suddenly in the pulpit while delivering a sermon in a chapel in Wales.
