The Scottsboro Herald wants John Perkins, of Marshall, for the successor of the late Senator Ira Foster.

Mr. Albert G. Henry, of Marshall County, the richest merchant in North Alabama, was married recently to Mrs. Julia Gaines, in Waco, Texas. Mr. Henry is 70 and his bride just half as old.—Scottsboro Herald.
