William Hanson, of Harrisville, Mich., on the Detroit & Mackinac, caught on May 3 a genuine speckled trout twenty-eight inches long and weighing nine pounds six ounces. The catch was made in Hill creek at Harrisville, and the fish is supposed to be the largest trout of its kind ever caught in Michigan.
