NEW YORK, NEW YORK : NOVEMBER 10, 1941Sleepy JIM CROWLEY was a crestfallen coach today, and there wasen't much he could do to disguise his reaction to Pittsburg's upset triumph over his Fordham Rams. Crowley , however, immediately mapped plans to salvage the rest of the season by beating St. Marys and New York University in the hope that the 13 to 0 pasting absorbed in steeltown Saturday will not effect any chance the Rams may have of playing in a post season bowl game. He paid tribute to the Pittsburg eleven. "I guess our over confidence was the reason we lost", Jim explained, then added " but that Pittsburg team played as well as I have ever seen it play, and I am iincluding the days when JOCK SUTHERLAND was over there and had championship teams by the dozen".
