CHEVY CHASE REALTY SOLD.
Thomas J. Fisher & Co. Negotiate Several Important Transactions.
A number, of important deals in Chevy Chase realty have been reported during the last week by the real estate firm of Thomas J. Fisher & Co., Inc. The many improvements which have been made in that section during the last summer and the proposed plan to move the loop of the Capital Traction Company from its present location at Rock Creek bridge to a point beyond Cleveland Park have done a great deal to benefit this suburb.
Among the sales reported by the Fisher Company are the following: W. B. OLMSTED and J. J. CRANE have sold through this company to John B. BULLARD a residence in Patterson street. The house has a frontage of 50 feet and contains eight rooms and bath. The price was about $7,300.
For the Chevy Chase Land Company to John SIMPSON Sons, Inc., two lots on the south side of Morrison street, with a frontage of 66 1-2 feet and a depth of 130 feet. The SIMPSON Company will erect a handsome residence on each lot, to cost about $9,750.
G. W. SARGENT has purchased a lot in Underwood street, in section 4. The property has a frontage of 60 feet and a depth of 120 feet. The consideration was 20 cents a foot.
A 100-foot frontage on the south side of Bradley lane, east of Connecticut avenue, has been sold to a prominent member of the Chevy Chase Club, who intends building a home to cost about $10,000.
Alfred COPELAND has purchased a lot on the south side of Morrison street, adjoining the property recently purchased by Clifford K. BERRYMAN. The cost was 35 cents a foot.
A lot on the south side of Bradley lane, formerly belonging to G. W. STONE, has been sold at a substantial profit to a party who intends erecting a $7,000 residence in the spring.
S. D. KENT has purchased a lot in Morrison street with a 60-foot frontage.
