Oct. 3--Mr. and Mrs. William J. Adams were congratulated today on their 64th wedding anniversary and their birthday anniversaries also. Mrs. Adams is 85 and Mr. Adams is 89 years old.
Mrs. Adams was born in Drunomville, Que.. Her maiden name was Mary Ann Clampet, Mr. Adams was born in Shipton, Que. They were married in Canada October 3, 1865. Three children were born to this union, two daughters and a one son, all having died several years ago. Mr. Adams has one brother living in Alberta. Mr. Adams has been for over 30 years a deacon in the Advent Christian church in Colbyville.
The couple have a small apartment where Mrs. Adams takes the care of her household duties. They are both in the best of health. They had their picture taken last week which was the first they have ever had taken together.
Mr. Adams is a retired farmer, having lived in various farms throughout the town.
