1927-Mrs. Mary J.(Jane McMichael) Brown Passes After a Prolonged Illness.
Funeral Services are Conducted at New Bethal Church.
Mrs. Mary Jane Brown, the Mother of Mr. W.E. Brown of this city, passed away at her home Friday After having been ill for some months. She was 66 years of age and had been in feeble health for a long time. Funeral services were conducted Saturday morning at 11 O'Clock at New Bethel Church, where he was a member. Rev W L Wright conducted (the serman), after which interment took place in New Bethel Cemetery. The deceased is survived by eight children; Mr. W. E. Brown of Dawson; Mr. E.R.Brown of Buena Vista; Mr. J.P. Brown of Madison Fl.; Mr. G Brown of Dawson; Mr. R.A. Brown of Jesup and Mrs. J.L. Giddins of Sylvester. She belonged to an old Terrell family, and was well known and much beloved throughout this section.
She died at 322 Main St. Dawson, Terrell, Ga.
