After an illness of only a few days Mrs.J.I. Roberts passed away at her home on Elm St. at 2 O'Clock Monday afternoon. The Doctor and nurse had realized since Saturday that she was rapidly sinking and those who anxiously watched about bedside were in a measure prepared for the announcement of her death.
Mrs. Roberts is survived by her husband and three daughters. Mrs. A.R. Snipes, Mrs. W. E. Brown and Mrs.W.P. Nasworthy. An adopted son Bobby Roberts who lives in Sylvester reached Dawson Monday.
Mrs. Roberts before her marriage was Miss Willa A. Causey. She was 61 years of age, and had spent the greater part of her life in Terrell Co. Of a retiring nature the deceased was best known in her home where she was always the devoted wife and Mother. For many years she was a member of the Methdist Church. The burial will occur this afternoon at New Bethal Church, the funeral services will be conducted by Rev. T.H. Thompson.
