Denton, Maryland - August 15, 1917
Mr John E.Henry, a well known traveling man, formerly a resident of Dorchester but of later years residing in Preston, died at his home in that place on August 15 after a lingering illness, age fourty-four years.
Mr. Henry was son of Mr. & Mrs. Winfield Henry of Cabin Creek, Dorchester County. He is survived by his wife, who was Edna Hicks, and his three children, his parents, and one sister, Mrs. Lee Cohee of New Haven, Conn.
