University Man's Suicide

Providence, R.I. In his chamber in Hope Hall, into which gas was pouring from a wide-open jet, and with two bullet wounds in his body, Richard MONTAGUE, Jr., of Newton, Mass., a student at Brown University, was found dead. The young many had committed suicide on account of despondence. He was 19 years of age and his father was the late Rev. Richard MONTAGUE, D.D., a well-known Baptist clergyman.
