Description: Tragedy In The Red Light District
Leslie Loosens Lead At Her Lover
Date: May 3 1908
Newspaper published in: Rawhide
Last night at the Tanaca Saloon in the red light district a fatal tragedy was enacted when a woman by the name of Leslie fatally shot her paramour McDOUGAL, a saloon man.
Eye witnesses claim that the man had been abusing the Leslie woman all evening. The abuse culminated in his throwing a heavy glass at her, where upon she grabbed a revolver and shot him through the abdomen, inflicting a wound that, in all probability, will prove fatal.
