Chillicothe, Mo., April 28.--S. R. NELSON, vice-president of the Bank of Chillicothe, killed himself by drinking carbolic acid in bed this morning. Before killing himself NELSON addressed letters to Frank SHEETZ, an attorney, and to the county coroner.NELSON came here twelve years ago from St. Louis, where he had been a banker. He was an Elk and a Mason and was an ex-president of the Missouri Bankers Association.
A brother, S. G. NELSON, is vice-president of John D. Rockefeller's Seaboard National Bank of New York.
W. H. MANSUR, presidnet of the bank, issued a statement this morning that NELSON's accounts were straight.
