In this instance candidacy of William McKNIGHT appears to more than satisfy the requirements of the occupation.
His citizenry is of the highest order; his rank in his profession is enviable and honorable and his service to his political party for a score of years has been both generous and valuable.
The highlights of his career may be set forth in this order;
Born in White Pine county, Nevada February 9, 1884; lived in Nevada all of his life, except for an absence of three years while attending college; resided in White Pine, Ormsby, Nye and Washoe counties; a resident of Reno since 1921.
Admitted to the bar of Nevada in 1912, to the bar of California in 1924; member Washoe county Bar Association.
Elected county recorder and auditor of White Pine county three times; defeated for district Judge of White Pine county in 1914 by eight votes.
