Chicago, Dec. 22.--Mrs. Elizabeth HORSCH, 3040 Racine avenue, gave birth to a son at Barry and Clifton avenues, while on her way home from a Christmas shopping trip in the neighborhood.

She summoned two men, wrapped the child in her cloak and walked three blocks to her home. Neighbors informed Dr. J. M. JACOBS.

When the physician reached the HORSCH home he found Mrs. HORSCH building a fire in a stove.
