Lawrence F. BLANKENSHIP was born 20 Aug 1901. although his headstone marks his birth as 1908. He served in World War II as a private in the Nevada Company H, I Infantry. Mr. BLANKENSHIP died in Reno 23 Dec 1961, his remains were brought to Hawthorne and he was buried in the Hawthorne Cemetery. He is survived by a brother Jack BLANKENSHIP of El Cajon, CA; sister, Mrs. Mildred JOHNSON of Santa Monica, CA.
