Captain JAMES HICKS, age 66 years, died in Mathews County on the 15th inst.

Reverand J. G. COUNCIL of Mathews County, Virginia, has received a call from the Baptist of the Newtown, Rehoboth, Pitts Creek and Cincoteague churches of Maryland and Virginia.
