The commissioners appointed by the last Legislature to define and establish the boundry line between Somerset and Dorchester counties, Maryland, have discharged their duties and made a report, which is signed by only two of them, THOMAS J. LEE and GEORGE WINTHROPE, the other, Mr. IRVING, having refused to sign it on the ground that Somerset is entitled to more territory than is allowed her. The "Cambridge Democrat" says; "Dorchester does not get all the territory she claims, but in consequence of the jurisdiction, Somerset has exercised over South Marsh Island which has heretofore been supposed to belong to Dorset, now cut off to Somerset. The other property claimed by Somerset, now cut off to Dorset, is Holland's Straits, very productive in oyster, Spring Island and one or two other unimportant Islands of mo value except for the oysters which surround them".
