Cambridge, Md., Sept 11, 1896:
J. WATSON THOMPSON, H. LEE GLOVER and THOMAS LECKIE of Dorchester and MR. HEARN of Pocomoke City, are applicants for the position of vice-principal to Cambridge High School. The salery is $500.

Dove shooters in Dorchester county report that there are large numbers of both partridges and rabbits this season and they are expecting fine sport when the legal season opens.

Capt. WILLIAM J. THOMAS has sold the schooner 'Mary E. Fable' to CHARLES R. DAVIS of Kent county.
