Description: Melancholy Suicide - CLEMONSON.

William CLEMONSON, a printer by trade, committed suicide to-day at about 2 o'clock, P.M., by taking two ounces of laudanum. He bought the drug at the store of Mr. HARBAUGH, on 7th street, went home, and after washing his feet, (remarking to his wife that he meant to die clean,) drank it. Medical assistance was called in but was of no avail. He resided at the corner of 9th and I streets, Northern Liberties. He has left an industrious and affectionate wife.
