St. Louis Jan. 8.--Paul Pierre AUTHER of Highland Park Ill., and Mrs. Charlotte FRANZEN of Madison, Wis., were in jail here today awaiting removal Highland Park.

AUTHER, according to the authorities, has signified his willingness to waive extradition and return to face charges growing out of his elopement with Mrs. FRANZEN.

Both deny the allegations of the woman's husband that she was stolen at the point of a pistol. They also deny that ARTHER forced FRANZEN to give him a check for $100 with which to pay for their "honeymoon."
