Description: Walter STRZEMP Dies Tuesday in Hawthorne

Hawthorne - Walter STRZEMP, 51, died Tuesday
(31 May) at a Hawthorne hospital. He was born 18 Mar 1926 in Chicago, IL.
STRZEMP came to Hawthorne in 1968 from Santa Rosa, CA to work as a warehouseman leader at the Naval Ammunition Depot.
He was a member of the John Franklin Shain of the VFW and of American Federal Government Employees (A.F.G.E.).
Survivors include his widow Catherine of Babbitt; daughters, Sharon JONES of Fresno, CA Colleen VIGIL of Hawthorne; brothers Andrew and Stanley of Chicago, IL and John of Crestwood, IL; sisters' Mary GELETA and Sophie LOANKOWSKI, both of Chicago and Angie KANIZER of Oaklawn, IL.
Rosary on Thursday at the Hawthorne Funeral Home. Requiem Mass will be celebrated at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church and burial will be in the Hawthorne Cemetery Friday.
