Edward MELVILLE, aged about forty years, 544 Quarry avenue, Woodberry, died yesterday about noon from lockjaw, resulting from injuries received on Saturday, May 20. Mr. MELVILLE was taking an unused pump stalk from a loft of his barn, when he lost his balance, fell to the ground, about 15 feet below, breaking both his arms just above his wrists, leaving the bones protruding through the flesh. Blood-poisoning set in.
