Closing Exercises of Immaculate Conception School for Boys

The closing exercises of Immaculate Conception School for Boys were held in the school hall, corner of Eighth and N Streets, northwest, last night. The exercises were opened by a grand entry march in which all the pupils took part. "Give Us Little Boys a Chance," a recitation by Clarence OSTERMAN, was well delivered, as was also Charles COOMES' "A Little Boy's Opinion of Grandmother." "What Would You Take for Me, Papa," a solo by John D. BARKER, was well rendered, and brought forth an encore from the large audience. Thomas Henry, in a recitation entitled "Mr. Hornes, the Grumbler," was a decided success. "Corns," by Frank J. JONES, was amusing. "E Pluribus Unum" was recited by D. F. MURPHY, and "The Lost Watch," by J. W. CONSIDINE; "I've Heard from the Man in the Moon" was sung by R. T. WILLIAMS. "The Herolo (?) Stranger," by John J. LYNCH, and "Pancratins" by M. J. RYAN, were both delivered in a finished manner. After the distribution of premiums, "Good Night" was rendered by the school chorus, composed entirely of small boys of the school.

The distribution of medals and premiums was as follows:
