Run away from Cecil County in Maryland, the 31st of December last, 1728, from the Brigantine Thomas and Sarah, William MASON, Commander, a servant man named John BUTLER, in company with two white men and an Indian man (which is deserted from the said vessel). He is about twenty years of age, he is a thick, short full faced fellow, full of pock holes, his hair about two inches long, he is in a sailors dress, he has on an old beaver hat, with several holes in it, a worsted cap, or a wigg, a pea-jacket, a speckled shirt, a new whitish kearsey pair of breeches with trowsers over them, gray yarn stockins, his shoes not much worse, and buckles in them. Whosoever will take up the above said fellow, and bring him to his Master, on Board the said vessel, now riding in Elk River, shall have twenty shillings reward.
