Description: Servant Named John RASPER Runs Away From His Master John COPSON

Run away the 8th of this instant April, from John COPSON, of North East or Principio Iron Works in Cecil County, an indentured servant man named John RASPER, a German born but has been some years in this Country, and talks good English, by trade a Taylor, and is likewise a good Collier, is a tall young man about 24 years of age, had on when he went away a good kersey coat of a snuff colour, breeches of the same with a black wastcoat, has good fine shirt with him, one is tho't to be ruffled on the bosom, has likewise three wiggs with him two light colour'd and one gray, trowsers of new homespun linnen, and leggings of white Holland, had also a pair of dark coloured duroy breeches gray stockings, leather heel'd shoes with steel buckles, had likewise with him a piece of green silk which it is thought he will make a cap of, likewise a check shirt, the bind tail white linnen, check trowsers and several black socks. He is of a thin long vissage and something fresh. Whoever secures him in the next County goal shall have five pounds Pennsylvania money, or if they bring him home to his Master shall have ten pounds like money including charges.
