Summer Resorts:

-- Montgomery White Sulphur Springs, Va. This long established and favorite Summer Resort, near the summit of the Allegheny Mountains, in the County of Montgomery, having undergone extensive improvements and repairs, offers unusual attractions for the season of 1878. Connected with the Atlantic, Mississippi, and Ohio Railroad at Big Tunnel by a Narrow Gauge Railroad, travelers to the Montgomery White will find the cars awaiting their arrival, and, stepping from one car to another, will in less than ten minutes be landed in the Reception House on the beautiful Springs' lawn, thus avoiding exposure and the fatigue of riding in coaches over rough roads. The Montgomery White is the most handsomely improved, and affords the largest accommodations of any watering place in Virginia, and the cheap railroad fare, and unusually low price of board, must secure a large patronage this season. The new management will spare neither expense nor pains in sustaining its present reputation and continuing it the leading place of resort in the South. All the usual appliances of comfort and amusement are provided, besides boating on the Lake, and a large and handsome skating rink and shooting gallery. The Marine Band of Annapolis is engaged; a large Livery Stable is attached, and Post Telegraph, Express and Ticket Offices are located on the grounds. For full particulars apply for Circulars.
