Victim Of Giant Powder Fumes

Date: February 20 1888

Michael DAILEY, a miner until recently, employed in the Con, Cal & VA, died Saturday morning at St Mary's Hospital, Virginia City. For more than a year he had been afflicted with miners consumption, produced by inhaling the fumes of giant powder. Deceased was a native of Ireland, about 38 years of age.
