Date: April 15 1736

Newspaper published in: Philadelphia, PA

Ran away on the 31st of March past, from his Master, Lawrence LAWRENCESON of Cecil County in Maryland, an English man servant named John STEVENSON, a lusty well set man about 30 years of age, a Butcher by trade, but may pass for a blacksmith, having stole a blacksmith's pocket book with sundry accompts, notes, money, and other things. He had on when he went away, a dark brown broad cloth coat frock fashion, burnt about the pocket flaps, grey kersey breeches, and oznabrigs shirt and trowsers, worsted & yarn stockings, a felt hat, and sundry caps.

He took with him a small ey'd grey mare, splay'd, a little black on one of her hipps.

Whoever will take up and secure the said servant, so that his Master may have him again, shall have a sufficient reward, beside necessary charges, paid by Lawrence LAWRENCESON.
