Yerington - 21 May, (Special) Funeral services for Richard MOLLART were held at Odd Fellows' Hall Tuedasy, Rev Glenn MILLER of the Methodist Church officiated. The eulogy was read by Judge Clark GUILD and hymns were sung by Mrs. Jennie NESMITH and the Methodist choir. Interment was in the Yerington Cemetery.
Mr. MOLLART died of injuried sustained when unloading heavy machinerl from a truck at a mine near Ione. His co-worker, Roy KYLE was also injured, and died from effects of the accident.
Surviving are his widow Lucille of Wellington; daughter, Dolly; parents Mr. and mrs. Ed MOLLART of Artesia; brothers, Kenneth of Artesia and Loren of Yerington; sister Eleanor LaMAIRE of Battle Mountain.
He was 32 and had spent all of his life in Smith Valley, being a graduate of the Smith Valley High School. He had engaged in the trucking business for several years.
