Yesterday at half-past 7 o'clock a.m., Martin BARRON, proprietor of the City Hotel, died, surrounded by members of his family. The deceased was a native of County Kilkenny, Ireland, nearly 40 [sic] years of age. He was an old time resident of Wadsworth, whence he removed to Arizona, living there for over five years. In May last he returned and located in Reno, buying the City Hotel premises on Virginia street. About a year ago pulmonary catarrh developed into consumption, and he has since been continually on the decline. A month ago he went to Sacramento with hopes of recuperating, but, feeling his end approaching, returned on yesterday morning's train. He was a man of integrity, and, though reserved, numbered a host of friends. He leaves a wife and sister. The funeral will take place at 2 o'clock Friday afternoon, March 29th, from the Catholic Church.
