Salisbury - August 13, 1850:
There was a meeting at Salisbury on the 13th for the purpose of forming a Union Reform Ticket for Somerset and Worcester counties, but instead of a union, said a correspondent of the Patriot, they have given us a full blooded democratic ticket for Somerset. The tickets are as followes; Worcester; Hon. Wm. B. Tingle, Thomas A. Spence, Handy Fooks, James M. Holland, James F. Mills, 3 Wiggs and 2 Democrats. Somerset; Dr. C. Humphries, Col. Handy, Levin Woolford, James Lawson, George Austin.
