Cumberland, Md., Aug. 23. -- Hon. Reuben Davidson, one of the largest landowners in Taylor county, W. Va., died yesterday at his country place, near Webster, a few miles from Grafton, aged about seventy-five years. He was a Democrat, and was a member of the West Virginia legislature for several terms. His surviving children are I. Thamer Davidson, Flemington, W. V.; Howard Davidson, near Simpson, W Va,. and Mrs. John Davisson, wife of Superintendent Davisson, of the Flemington Coal and Coke Company.
