Minerals. A person whose name is SHEETZ lately arrived from Germany, at Lancaster, in the State of Pennsylvania, with good recommendations, who was brought up in a regular way, as a Mineralist and refiner of Metals, and has studied all the necessary branches appertaining to that extensive science, and who has served a great prince, in that capacity, with advantage for upwards of 22 years; makes known to the public that he came to this country to explore and examine its mountains and to give his counsel and advice, for the extracting and manufacturing of its metals and minerals to the best advantage. Therefore he proposes to examine and assay in fire all ore and minerals which shall be brought or sent to him on paying ten shillings for each, and to determine with precision and exactness how much each ore or mineral contains in every hundred weight. Those persons being desirous of having any mineral examined or assayed will be pleased to send them to Messrs STEEMER, ALBRIGHT, and LAHN, Printers, at the New Printing Office in the Borough of Lancaster, or those who should want his counsel and advice will be pleased to direct their letters as above.
