Description: Staff Sgt. William Hall Killed In Action

S/Sgt. William HALL, formerly of Reno, was killed in action 21 Sep when the fighter bomber in which he was crew chief was shot down over China, it was learned here yesterday.
Overseas since July 1943, the sergeant was employed here by Hermann and Wilson Company before entering the service in October, 1941. He had been stationed in India and Burma, then was sent China. He is son of Mr. and Mrs. Ward HALL of Alliance, CA.
