Whereas James KNOX, lately at the Head of Elk, in Maryland, having sold a mare and a horse to Nicholas VANSANT, of Kent County, in Maryland, which have been duly proved to be the property of Jacob MILLER and Mary DOUGHARTY, of Lancaster County, and has been stolen from them. This is therefore to give notice that whoever secures, or brings the said KNOX to me shall have five pounds, Maryland money, besides reasonable charges. He is a thin pale man, about 5 foot 8 inches high, abut 30 years old, has no beard, and has the fever and ague. Had on a deep blue surtout coat with a light blue velvet cape, a black wig or a worsted cap.
