Description: Death of J. J. HUNTERDate: October 11 1879
Newspaper published in: Cairo, Illinois
Old J. J. HUNTER, the somewhat eccentric man, bridge-builder, etc., of Pulaski, died on Wednesday last, after an illness that was protracted over several months. He was an old gentleman of more than ordinary intelligence. His political and religious convictions were peculiar perhaps, but he was so well fortified in them that those who didn't agree with him, always deemed it advisable to let him alone. He was, at the time of his death, in the 65th year of his age.
