Description: Drowns In Lake Phalen

Michael Schiermer, 76 of 776 Hague avenue, missing from his home and sought all night by friends and relatives was found dead at 6 am today in Lake Phalen.
He apparently had walked into the water, fallen over and drowned. The body was lying face down in two feet of water about eight feet from the shore at the southeast end of the lake.The body was found by his daughter Frances Schiermer,same address and C Mikkelson who had searched the lake vicinity all night after they received word that the aged man had been seen in that district.
